about me
I’m Andrew Wojciak, a mountain athlete and endurance coach located in the White Mountains of New Hampshire who specializes in technical mountain ultramarathons. The gnarlier the mountains, the better.
The Northeast trails require a unique training plan. You need to combine speed, strength, durability and technical skills to succeed here. I have fine tuned training over the years to help get the most out of athletes.
If I could tell a runner one thing it would be this. There are no shortcuts in endurance training. Staying healthy and consistently putting in the work to improve will take you further than you can imagine.
The Run Mountain Peaks Coaching Promise
Every day, I think about how to become a better and stronger mountain runner. If you train with me, I will have that exact same mentality towards helping you achieve the same.
When we work together, the main goals will be:
Increase Top End Speed: The fitter you are, the better off you will be. Don’t let classic ultramarathon advice tell you speed is not important. It is important for every single distance.
Increase Musclar Endurance & Mountain Strength: Long climbs and descents strain the legs more than the lungs. You need a combination of specific mountain work and strength training to maximize your fitness.
Build Volume Strategically to Avoid Injury: For most people, the more volume you can recover from, the better. Unfortunately most people do not build volume correctly. Mountain running is unique and there are many ways to increase volume in a productive and low impact way.
